Class of 2010 Reunion Update

Nicola Fan 10 GD is Hong Kong based graphic designer and award-winning filmmaker. She is a director for commercials, documentaries, narrative films, motion-graphics. Her clientele includes but not limited to M+ Museum, Hong Kong Museum of History, Ralph Lauren, Lee Kum Kee, The Women's Foundation. 

She was an artist resident at Swatch Art Peace Hotel in 2023. 

Selected by Werner Herzog, she was 1 of 50 international filmmakers to participate in his 2021 Film Accelerator Lab at Lanzarote. The short documentary she created during the lab, The Island Lives, was selected for 2022 Cannes Court Métrage. 

On the film festival circuit, her short narrative film Daffodil is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Her first commissioned short narrative film Lil’ Tiger was an official selection at 2018 Bentonville Film Festival. It was also showcased in a series of Hong Kong community screenings. Her first feature documentary She Objects was official selection at 2016 Sundance Film Festival Hong Kong. It was screened at close to 200 organisations, companies, schools and universities across Hong Kong. 

Her work has been featured in press such as SCMP, Asia Tatler, TimeOut (HK), TVB. She has been a guest speaker on RTHK, TedX Lingnan University, Sundance Film Festival (HK), SCMP: Women of Our Time, Victoria Shanghai Academy, and more.
