Alum pens forward and afterward for new publication
Aphorisms for Artists: 100 Ways Toward Better Art by Walter Darby Bannard, edited with a foreword and afterword by Franklin Einspruch 90 IL, was published at Allworth Press in January 2024.
Its cover lists endorsements by Laurie Anderson, Michael Fried, Karen Wilkin, Peter Plagens, and Mark Golden of Golden Artist Colors. "Open to any page," writes Allworth, "and you'll find a memorable gem of wisdom, followed by a brief expansion by Bannard that adds more insight.
