Club of Chicago Explores the Art Institute of Chicago
The Club of Chicago invites you to join us in exploring the Art Institute of Chicago during Free Admission Thursdays. This is an incredible opportunity to connect with alumni in and around Chicago and get creative as we sketch together in the galleries. If you are a recent RISD grad or just new to the area, this is a wonderful way to get to know our community!
There are several modern and contemporary art exhibitions to explore together. A music performance at 5:30 pm by Charles Gaines entitled Manifestos 4: The Dred and Harriet Scott Decision, is also an option if you register in advance.
Event registration is free. Illinois residents receive free admission during the summer on Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm. After you register for our event, your confirmation email will ask you to complete your registration with the museum. Completing your registration on the museum site ensures you will avoid the lines and that you can see all the exhibitions you’d like. Select exhibitions and musical performances may require an additional ticket that you can add on as you complete your registration.
