Charles Winding (1935-2025)
Charles Arthur Winding, Jr., of Charleston, SC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born in December 1935 to Charles and Elizabeth (nee Bovier) Winding in Madison, WI. Chuck grew up in Elmira, NY. He attended and graduated from The Clarke School for the Deaf as a young student and went on to graduate as the first deaf graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
