Lynn Bobowick (1956-2020)

The Artist: Lynn Bobowick A Legacy with Lasting Resonance

Lynn Bobowick was born in Fairfield, CT. in 1956. She was best known as an avant-garde artist, who broke the rules and paved the way for the Language of Light geometry to be introduced into the world. Always connected to the spiritual realm at a very early age through her Guides, Angels and Ascended Masters, Lynn knew instinctively her soul’s purpose to embody in service more love and light into the world. This would take the form of creative expression through drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and writing. She was innately gifted in all.

Lynn received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 1978. Following RISD, Lynn received her MFA from Pratt Institute in 1984. After graduating, she acquired a studio in SoHo, NY where she lived and worked. Always “On a Mission” to serve humanity, with profound creativity and love, Lynn was driven to illuminate the path for all on their spiritual journey. Today her art continues to serve as a powerful source of self exploration for all.

Lynn Bobowick: The “Buddha Experience”

Lynn attended Rhode Island School of Design in 1974. At RISD, through a course assignment, to meditate upon the Buddha Dainichi Nyori at the RISD Museum, students were asked to describe what they experienced. Lynn was “hit” by the most intense expressions of light from the Buddha. The Buddha Dainichi Nyori meaning “Great Sun”, emitted rays of light showering her with very high frequencies, activating and awakening her soul to her divine mission. Lynn’s vibration raised instantly in which she seemed to “float in every step”, witnessed by many. She asked her friend, Philip Bradley (‘78), who was next to her, “Phil, did you see anything?” He said “no!” Lynn documented her Buddha light experience in her journal. After it was over, she yelled “YEE” at the top of her lungs. While leaving the museum, she passed the Impressionist paintings and instantaneously said to her old friends, Renoir, Degas, and others, “goodbye.” She knew she would never paint in their genre again. This transformative “spiritual awakening” at RISD took off in a most unimagined way in which she soon began exploring what she knew as “The Language of Light Geometry.”

“LYNN BOBOWICK IS GOING TO CHANGE THE ART WORLD!” –Mark Dean, RISD Alumni ’78

Lynn visited many galleries in NYC when she first started out, primarily in Soho. At this time, Mary Boone was the “talk of the town” and Lynn went regularly to her Openings. One day Lynn went into her gallery to show Mary Boone photos of her artwork. Mary recognized her and Lynn was able to have a quick conversation and showed 5x7’s of her work. Mary Boone was impressed and very quickly suggested that she see Annina Nosei and that she would be “a better fit.” After meeting with Mary Boone, Lynn had a discussion with Annina Nosei, known to promote young, emerging artists. Lynn was given the opportunity to show her artwork. At this time Lynn’s art represented the beginning of her exploration into Sacred Geometry. Ms. Nosei was very intrigued with Lynn’s work, commenting “I know you have something here. I don’t quite understand it. Come back when you have more work to show.” Lynn continued her artwork while “checking the pulse” of what other galleries were showing. After time, It was apparent that she was ahead of her time, a vanguard in her field and the art that she was creating of the deeper “spiritual nature” was not being shown in any of the galleries. Lynn became immersed in her own artwork on her path of light and never pursued showing her work in galleries again.

Lynn Bobowick: Artist Practice: The Language of Light Geometry

As Lynn progressed in raising her vibration through meditation, yoga, Tai chi, crystals, and evolved through her own artwork, she was able to fully establish her union with the higher dimensions and connect with the Language of Light Geometry she was destined to bring into the world. Lynn’s heightened ability to receive the exact representation of purity of expressions of specific frequencies through her new work created a period that began to define her art. “Within the channeling process which is profound, I am connecting with sacred geometry which feels really beautiful. The Sacred Language of Light Geometry which I channel is directly from my soul. Going through my soul, I am activating the higher dimensions within myself. I am connecting to something higher. I am connecting to a portal to another world, which is “Extra Dimensional.” This art, is transcendent. Transcendent art refers to “works that go beyond the ordinary or mundane. It can communicate complex ideas that transcend time and culture. Transcendent art renders what seems invisible into something visible and meaningful.” “The Language of Light Geometry I channel, perfectly in unison with the divine is emitting very high frequencies promoting positive change and transformation. Through viewing the art, with an open heart, one can connect to a higher vibration. The work can raise your vibration by connecting to your heart, for it is in the heart where the truth of your being resides.  One should be in a meditative state in order to experience its true potential. Close your eyes, breathe and look at each painting and meditate with it. Allow your eyes to feel the frequencies emitted by observing through each geometric shape and then as a whole. Enjoy the beauty and divine harmony that is unfolding before you. This sacred geometry realigns you profoundly. It can alter, adjust, affect: Change, Correction, Improvement, Rehabilitation, Shifts, Renewal and Transformation. You will feel a sense of peace. This sacred geometry provides an energetic field so powerful one could get lost within it as an energetic world. Through this, one can be activated and transported to other dimensions. This transcendent art helps people see and understand that there is something deeper than our eyes can see or capture or understand. You can get visions. This art activates the ability to experience a series of spiritual awakenings that we could never connect to in the traditional way. After connecting with each painting, one can feel transformed through the energetic vibrations, frequencies and sensations. This Sacred Language of Light Geometry allows one to use this transcendent art as a tool to facilitate their own Journey of Enlightenment .” - Lynn Bobowick
