Alum's poetry published in several magazines
In 2020, Ed Baranosky 69 PT embraced the world of poetry.
Baranosky's exhibition Seajourney's Retrospective was held in Toronto's Luscuplture Gallery in February 2020. Seajourney's Retrospective was Lucsculpture Gallery's final exhibition, as the venue ultimately closed that year due to COVID-related complications. The show was Baranosky's sixth solo show at the Gallery in twelve years. He was also interviewed in Between Darkness and Light.
Baranosky dedicated the remainder of his year to poetry. Several of his poems were published in the first collections of panku (a newly coined poetry style) by Devour: Art and Lit Canada. Five poems each were featured in Issues #5, #6 and #7.
Baranosky's sijo (Korean style verse) was published by the publisher Eastern Forms in a 2020 anthology collection titled Wholly Trinities: The Nocturnal Iris Anthology of Sijo. His sijo verse also appeared in Eastern Structures (Issues #8, #9, #10, #11 and #12).
On September 26, 2020, another one of Baranosky's poems "Come Away" was published in Halibut Magazine for the theme of "Equinox."
