Ruth Dealy 71 PT MFA 73 PT has been named a third-round finalist of the Bennett Prize.
From The Bennett Prize's website: The Bennett Prize, created in 2018, awards $50,000 to a woman artist to create her own solo exhibition of figurative realist paintings, which then travels the country. The winner will be announced May 18, 2023 at the exhibition opening reception at the Muskegon Museum of Art in Muskegon, Michigan.
The Rising Voices 3 exhibition featuring the finalists' work will be on view at the Muskegon Museum of Art from May 18–September 10, 2023.
