Quincy Harding, a Black and Native illustrator, has a wide variety of work that spans from digital illustrations, fashion illustrations, textile designs, and clothing design. She mainly creates her art digitally depicting stylized and glamorous characters in a style in which she calls “Moody Glamour”. Inspired by beauty, streetwear, fashion, and focusing on women of color, her work produces a unique style of new-age futuristic illustration that’s hip, funky and dazzling to the eye. This piece, Foolish Bloom, is inspired by the idea of growth but in the wrong direction or for the wrong reasons. It invites viewers to question what fuels their own growth and whether it aligns with authenticity, purpose, and true well-being.
