This is the cover of my book, "Chinese Menu", which shares the history, myths and legends behind American Chinese food. I used Chinese label and advertising art from the 1920-60's as inspiration for the cover; but tried hard to bridge an aesthetic of old and new, Asian and American, as well as sophisticated and child-friendly.
