RISD Art + Design Educators (RADE) presents its second webinar in a series on virtual instruction.
Join Stephanie C. Silverman 04 FD, NBCT, as she presents 10+ years of virtual art and design classroom experience using the free multi-author blog platform Blogger. Learn how to create a free, customizable, secure MAB (multi-author blog) to address concerns related to virtual art education instruction, including: fostering authentic and meaningful classroom connection, critique, and feedback opportunities; creation of an archive of time-stamped student work (for grading purposes as well as documentation for administration of your work); and an online archive and curriculum resource for your own future use and/or as an instructional resource for others.

About the Presenter:
Stephanie Silverman 04 FD, NBCT received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2004 and holds a master's degree in Teaching Visual Arts (MAT) from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She holds several teaching licenses in Pennsylvania and Delaware, including the National Board Certification in Early Adolescence-Young Adulthood Art Education (K-12). Stephanie is presently completing a Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) offered by Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and the Harvard Business School. Stephanie is the recipient of numerous teaching awards and has been invited to speak at the National Art Education Association (NAEA) National Convention. In addition to serving as the Chair of Archmere Academy’s Fine Art Department in Claymont, Delaware, Stephanie also maintains a serious studio practice and sells her artwork to a global audience through her Etsy shop SilvermanFineArt.
